See a different side of London in Muswell Hill

Located in north London between Finchley and Wood Green, Muswell Hill is regarded as one of the more expensive suburbs in London and has a leafy village charm, despite being part of the capital. The area has strong links to pop culture, as it is referenced in both a song and an album title by The Kinks and also featured in the hit comedy horror Shaun of the Dead.

Undoubtedly the most famous landmark close to Muswell Hill is the stunning Alexandra Palace, which originally opened in 1873 and boasts beautiful parkland, a boating lake and is also used as a venue for a host of live music events. The 28-hectare Highgate Wood which is home to trails, wildlife and a range of other facilities, is also Nearby.

Head south to explore the rest of the city

No visit to the capital would be complete without heading into the centre of London to some of its world famous attractions.
