Larmer Tree Gardens - step into the past

On the Rushmore Estate Near Tollard Royal in Salisbury, Larmer Tree Gardens were the first private gardens to be opened to the public, back in 1880. Now an Official Area of Outstanding Beauty, the gardens are a popular venue for weddings, with the beautiful scenery making for pictures to treasure forever. Much of the original Victorian architecture is still standing and in excellent condition. Summer months are ideal for lazing around with a picnic on the site's 11 acres, with free music every Sunday.
