Racing, weddings and more at Salisbury Racecourse

The site is also regularly used for weddings and private parties, as well as business-related events including conferences and meetings.

See the Magna Carta at the city's cathedral

Whether you're in the area to see friends tie the knot or for an important corporate event, be sure to take some time out to explore the rich history of Salisbury. The centrepiece of the city is of course its cathedral, which has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom. It is also home to a beautifully preserved copy of the Magna Carta, which was first drafted in the 1200s and is regarded as one of the most important legal documents in the world.
