Tips for creating a strong password :

  • Have a mix of lower and upper letters combined with numeric characters.
  • Try to substitute numbers and letters. (e.g 3/e 0/o)
  • Include phonetic replacements, such as 'Luv2Laf' for 'LoveToLaugh'

Things to avoid :

  • Don't use a password that contains personal information. (Names, birthdays, pets etc)
  • Avoid using keyboard patterns as part of your password. (qwerty, mnbvc)
  • Use a unique password per service account and change them regularly.
