Enjoy a full day of retail therapy at the Trafford Centre, Britain's largest indoor shopping centre with more than 200 shops - if shopping isn't really the kids' thing, they're bound to find a way to pass the time at the 20-screen cinema or 18-lane bowling alley in the centre.

Sense of adventure

Adrenalin junkies of any age will find much to keep them entertained in and around Urmston: take to the slopes at Chill Factore, Manchester's skiing and snowboarding centre, experience human flight at Airkix Indoor Skydiving, enjoy a terrific treetop adventure at Aerial Extreme, or train to become the next Ninja Warrior at Total Ninja, the world's largest ninja park.

Art and culture

Many of the museums Near to Urmston have free admission. Spend a day at the iconic Imperial War Museum North to discover the impact of war, or visit the Museum of Science and Industry, who's collection documents 250 years of discoveries and innovations that began in Manchester and went on to influence the world.
