Founded in 1850 by Thomas Stevens, Rector and Lord of the Manor of Bradfield Near Reading in Berkshire, Bradfield College is an independent school catering to both boarding and day pupils. It's now part of a group of schools that also includes Harrow, Wellington College and Charterhouse and is famous for producing plays in Ancient Greek. Novelist Louis de Bernieres and comedian Tony Hancock are former pupils.

Despite being built in an 18th century Palladian style, its interiors are set out as they would have been during the 1950s, giving it a more homely and less austere feel.
