Come to Carterton

Carterton is a picturesque Cotswolds town Near the Oxfordshire-Gloucestershire border. Much of the land that is now Carterton was owned by the Moleyns family in the early medieval period, until William, the patriarch at the time, was killed at the Siege of Orleans, and the land changed hands. Today it has three public houses and a number of shops and supermarket chains serving the town centre.

Crocodiles of the World is a unique wildlife attraction just 5 minutes outside of Carterton, boasting one of the most varied collections of crocodiles, alligators, and caiman anywhere in Europe. It includes Siamese and Cuban crocodiles, which are two of the most endangered in the world, as well as the exceptionally large and fearsome saltwater.
