SEXY STARS

Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Matt Le Blanc are more likely to slip between the sheets in sexy lingerie than any other stars, according to a new survey.

Elizabeth Hurley, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp will lay awake in bed for hours every night worrying about work, life, family and other issues.

While Cameron Diaz, Sean Connery and Keanu Reeves will not be able to sleep a wink until their bedroom is spotlessly clean and tidy.

A new survey by Travelodge has discovered that star signs can impact on the way people sleep. Famous Leos J-Lo, Friends' hunk Joey Le Blanc and fabulous 40-something Madonna are most likely to head for bed in a sexy state of mind, dressed in seductive undies.

Other sensual Leos include Zoro star Antonio Banderas, Oscar winning beauty Charlize Theron, model Iman, Woody Harrelson and Ben Affleck.

In sharp contrast to alluring lions, Pisceans like Michael Caine, Queen Latifah, Benicio Del Toro and Bruce Willis prefer to shun love when they get under the covers.

They would rather lay in bed stimulated by TV, listening to music, reading or phoning relatives.

But Something About Mary star Diaz and retired Bond Connery are Virgos - and that makes them the fussiest sleepers of all.

Born between August 23 and September 22, Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp and other Virgos like Hugh Grant and Bill Murray cannot sleep with a single item out of place. They are obsessive about tidy bedrooms.

Librans are the luckiest star sign of all because they will have the best night's sleep out of all the 12 astrological signs.

That means celebrity couples Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas as well as Gwyneth Paltrow and Matt Damon will be the most rest stars of all.

Model and movie star Liz Hurley is one of the worst sleepers. The one-time partner of another Hollywood big hitter Hugh Grant is a major worrier and it will keep her awake for hours every night.

The former Estee Lauder covergirl is a Gemini and other bed time worriers under the twins sign include Jolie, Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp, Boy George and Clint Eastwood.

Travelodge's director of sleep, Wayne Munnelly, said: "Our survey clearly shows that your star sign affects the way you sleep. Certain star signs have very definite characteristics which show through in our extensive poll. To ensure each star sign is fully rested, the rule of thumb is: are you waking before your alarm goes off? If not you are probably sleep deprived."

Star signs will also determine the way people sleep. Taureans love sleeping on their backs, Leos prefer their fronts and Ariens are most comfortable on their sides.

Geminis like to curl up in the foetal position when they climb into bed.

Top astrologer Shelly Von Strunckel has now created a star chart for Travelodge with tips for each sign on how to get the best nights sleep. It is available online at www.travelodge.co.uk under the 'what's new' section.

Von Strunckel said: "Each sign has its own temperament, acknowledge this when getting ready for bed and a wonderful nights rest is there for the taking."
