Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 years or older on the terms set out below.  Employees of the Promoter and any of their respective parent and affiliate companies and their agents or contractors, their immediate families and anyone else connected with the promotion are excluded from entry.  2. The competition will run from 19 October 2015 to 16 November 2015 (inclusive).  During this period you will be entered into the competition if you pre-book and pre-pay for a £7.95 breakfast when booking a stay for one or more nights on or before 16 December 2015 at a participating Travelodge hotel.  A list of the participating Travelodge hotels can be found at the end of these Terms & Conditions.  Bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.  This competition does not apply to breakfast bookings made in a hotel.  3.  If you cancel the breakfast or related booking or amend your stay dates or hotel choice to those outside the terms of this competition, your entry will be disqualified from the competition.  4.  Pay on arrival bookings will not be entered into the competition (including all bookings where American Express is the payment method).  5.  All bookings are subject to Travelodge's standard terms and conditions which can be viewed at www.travelodge.co.uk/terms-conditions.  6.  No purchase necessary.  In order to enter the competition without making a purchase you can send your name, address and telephone number by post to ‘Lavazza Competition, Travelodge Brand Team’ at the Promoter's address detailed below. All entries must be received on or before 16 November 2015.  Any entries received after this time will not be entered.  7.  Incomplete or illegible entries or entries not in accordance with these terms and conditions will be rejected.  The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries which are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including for example as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.  The Promoter will not accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.  8.  One entry per person allowed. No bulk or third party entries.  The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.  9. The winners of the competition will be the first entrants selected at random from all correct entries.  10. The prizes are as follows and will be awarded in the order that the entrants are selected: (i) one £100 high street shopping voucher provided by Compliments (ii) one Samsung Galaxy Tab A, provided by Samsung, details of which can be found here ; (iii) five prizes of a Lavazza Fantasia coffee machine plus a month’s supply of Lavazza coffee (being deemed to be 2 boxes of 36 capsules), details of which can be found on Lavazza’s website at http://www.lavazza.co.uk/uk/; and (iv) five prizes of a consecutive two night stay starting on either a Friday or Saturday in a UK Travelodge of the winner’s choice, for up to two adults aged 18 or over.  The stay prizes must be taken before 16th February 2016 and may not be taken on 31st December 2015.  The stay prizes are subject to availability and subject to Travelodge's standard terms and conditions which can be viewed at www.travelodge.co.uk/terms-conditions.  The Promoter is not affiliated with or connected to Compliments, Samsung or Lavazza in any way.  The prizes do not include transportation, meals, drinks, entertainment, spending money, installation or any costs or items not specifically mentioned above.  It is the responsibility of the winners to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines and, if a winner of a Travelodge stay prize, to inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access requirements when taking up the prize.  The prizes are subject to Compliments, Samsung and Lavazza’s terms and conditions as appropriate.  The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery and/or any damage caused to a prize during delivery.  11. The prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. There are no cash alternatives.  The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes, of equal or greater value, should the advertised prize(s) become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.  12. To the extent permitted by law the Promoter shall have no liability for any claims, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this competition or the allocation or use of the prizes.  13. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners as soon as practicable on or after 17 November 2015, using the telephone number, email address or myTravelodge account provided with the competition entry.  If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available by 31 December 2015, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries.  14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into; however the Promoter will send the name and county of the winners to anyone who writes by 16 January 2016 (correspondence to be received on or before such date) requesting details of the winners and enclosing a self-addressed envelope to ‘Lavazza Competition, Travelodge Brand Team’ at the Promoter’s address detailed below.  15.  If you are a winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winners of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purpose.  16.  By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.  17. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion in wholly exceptional circumstances outside its control.  18.  These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  19. By entering into the prize draw, entrants accept and are bound by these Terms & Conditions.
