Travelodge, the UK’s first budget hotel chain, has launched its 2022 recruitment drive - and is looking to fill 604 positions in 582 hotels the length and breadth of the UK immediately.

 

The hotel group, which has earned the name of ‘Staycation Champion’ after welcoming thousands of guests to its hotels since Freedom Day, has ambitious plans for growth in the coming years, having opened 17 new properties in 2021. Offering great value, quality accommodation, Travelodge is looking to welcome individuals with great people skills, ambition and enthusiasm to the team, with a particular focus on attracting parents looking to return to the workplace with a job that will work around their family commitments.

 

From full time roles to jobs that offer part-time, evening and weekend working hours and multi-functional positions working across departments, there are a variety of opportunities available within the Travelodge family across its 582 UK hotels and head office in Thame, Oxfordshire.   

 

These include full time Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager positions and full and part time opportunities as Bar Café Team Member, Housekeeping Team Member and Receptionist.

 

40 roles are available at Travelodge’s head office in Thame, Oxfordshire, including positions in Customer Services, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing & Sales, PR, Property, Procurement, Revenue and UK Operations.

 

The business is also recruiting for 13 full time Maintenance Engineers to join its field team.  Travelodge is the only UK budget hotel chain to have a dedicated in-house maintenance team of experts to support its hotels across the UK, and each Engineer is given their own network of hotels to service.   Engineers will receive a branded, fully-equipped vehicle to enable them to travel across their network, as well as a comprehensive personal package including a branded uniform and high quality tools.
