This includes creating new hotel teams for the company’s five new hotels opening this summer, which includes London City Travelodge – the company’s new flagship hotel        

Travelodge, Britain’s first budget hotel chain which operates 546 UK hotels is looking to fill 1,785 positions across the country this summer.  

From the 1,785 jobs, 1,167 positions are permanent roles which need to be filled immediately across the chain’s 546 UK hotels which stretch the length and breadth of the country.  Also this summer Travelodge is opening five new hotels and recruiting for new hotel teams at the following hotels: London City Travelodge, the company’s new flagship hotel and hotels in Telford, Welwyn Garden City, Gainsborough and Redruth. 

Permanent positions include: Hotel Managers, Assistant Managers, Bar Café Assistant, House-Keeper, Guest Room Cleaners and Receptionists.

In addition the company is looking to fill 36 positions at its head office in Thame, Oxfordshire - which includes positions in: IT, Revenue, HR, Marketing, Customer Services and Sales.    

The remaining positions include: 582 summer jobs across the company’s 546 UK hotels to support the teams during the summer period, which is set to be another record year for Staycation breaks. These roles are temporary but may also lead to a permanent position. Positions include: Bar Café Assistant, House-Keeper, Guest Room Cleaners and Receptionists.

Travelodge is totally dedicated to developing its people and has a successful in-house management programme in place called ASPIRE which helps entry level staff members to successfully climb the career ladder into management.  Since the programme was launched it has helped over a thousand entry level staff members into a management position. Last year, 389 Travelodge staff members graduated from the Aspire programme.
