Eligibility, Opening and Closing Dates for Entries

 

2. These prize draws are open to UK residents aged 18 years or older, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with its administration.

3. There will be a total of 20 runner-up prizes and 1 grand prize. Descriptions and limitations of the prizes are detailed below.

4. The Promoter will randomly select one winner for each of the 6 prizes (so a maximum of 21 winners) according to the timetable below.  The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to ensure no changes are made to the timetable below.  However, if there is any IT issue on the side of the Promoter which prevents the prize draws from being run normally, the Promoter may vary the timetable accordingly.

How to Enter

 

5. These prize draws are free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

Each individual, who successfully completes the entry form while the entries remain open as indicated in the timetable above, will be eligible to enter into the prize draws. One entry per person (as represented by the email address provided via the entry form) will then be included in respective weekly Runner Up prize draw and the subsequent Grand Prize draw. Temporary or disposable email addresses (i.e. email addresses ending with domains known for generating fake email addresses) will not be valid to enter into the prize draws.

6. Entries after the relevant “Entries Closing Date/Time” has passed will not be valid for the past or future Runner Up prize draws. An earlier runner-up prize winner and his/her entries will remain for the subsequent Grand Prize draw.

8. The Grand Prize – FREE stays for a year

DescriptionDelivery of Prize and Specific Limitation
As long as the amount of the room costs (based on the then current prices shown on travelodge.co.uk) does not exceed £25,000, the grand prize winner can book any Travelodge hotel rooms at the cost of the Promoter.(A) Subject to hotel room availability shown on travelodge.co.uk.

(B) All free stays must be during the year of 2024 and must be booked before 24th December 2024.

(C) Travelodge hotel accommodation will comprise of one room only at UK hotels.

(D) The prize will not pay for any other “Extra” items (e.g. breakfast, pets, early check-in, late check-out, and WiFi). These can be purchased by the winner upon arrival.

(E) The Promoter will send a separate email to the winner regarding how to redeem the prize.

(F) Free stays are provided to the winner personally which means the winner must be present as a staying guest for all bookings made under the prize. If the winner is not present, the Promoter can cancel the booking without notice to the winner and without incurring any liability on the Promoter and forfeit the prize without providing any compensation.

(G) The Promoter will require the winner to move rooms if s/he stays in the same hotel room for 28 or more consecutive nights. If the winner refuses to move rooms, the Promoter will terminate the booking and forfeit the prize without providing any compensation.

(H) No bookings made for providing this prize will confer tenancy rights on any occupant.

(I) If the winner fails to check in to a pre-booked room on 3 or more occasions, for whatever reason, they will forfeit remainder of the prize without providing any compensation.

Winner Notification and Announcement

 

9. As soon as the winner is randomly chosen for each prize, the Promoter will contact the winner using the email address submitted via the entry form. The Promoter will send up to three emails to the winner to notify the prize draw result. If the winner fails to respond within 5 working days after the initial email from the Promoter, it is deemed that the winner has refused to take up the prize and the Promoter will offer the prize to the next eligible participant randomly selected from the entries.

10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into; however the Promoter will send the results of the winners within 28 working days to anyone who writes requesting details of the winner and enclosing a self-addressed envelope to “Travelodge Marketing Team” at the Promoter’s address detailed below.

The Promoter’s Stay Prizes and Liability Limit

 

11. Once a hotel stay has been booked by the Promoter for the winner, no changes can be made to the booking.

12. You agree that the Promoter’s standard Booking T&Cs (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/terms-conditions) will apply when taking up any of the prizes involving staying at any Travelodge hotels.  In case of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the standard Booking T&Cs, the conflict will be resolved in favour of these terms and conditions.

Please read the Booking T&Cs carefully, and especially the Promoter draws your attention to the section E (Your stay – requirements of you and the other members of your booking) and section J8 (Our liability).

Data protection and Publicity

 

16. The entry form asks for a participant’s email address and mobile phone number which may or may not be personal information. This will be handled in compliance with the privacy policy (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/about/privacy-policy/).

17. After a winner is confirmed, the Promoter will publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. If the winner objects to any or all of your first name, initial of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter as specified in section 1. The Promoter may also share such personal information with a regulatory body when necessary.

18. Any of the personal information so collected in the administering of these prize draws will not be shared with any third party unless it is necessary to administer these prize draws, or to manage or provide the prizes.

General

 

19. There is no cash or credit alternative and each prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and is not for resale.

20. It is the relevant winner’s responsibility to book the hotels and transportation, to organise the trips, to obtain the correct level of travel insurance, to bring the IDs or other travel documents where necessary, and bear all other costs not named in these prize draws (e.g. parking charges, food and beverage consumptions, and cancellation costs should the travel plan change).

21. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from these prize draws if, in its sole judgement, the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions, has tampered with the operation of the prize draws, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to the Promoter, the prize draws, or any other entrant.

22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
