We’re over the moon to announce that 318 Travelodge hotels were awarded the prestigious TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2024!
That’s right, you heard it here first: we’re officially a traveller favourite!
A huge credit to our success is certainly our refurbishment programme which saw more than 130 hotels upgraded to our next generation rooms in 2024.

A number of our 2024 Travellers’ Choice Winners feature our new 85 Bar Café. We rolled out our 85 Bar Café concept in over 40 locations during 2024 – our living space for eating, drinking and unwinding at the heart of our hotel.

The name is a nod to our heritage when we opened our first ever Travelodge hotel in 1985. We’ve grown somewhat since and are now the largest independent hotel chain in the UK with over 580 hotels!
